Welcome to Happy Valley Primary School! Happy Valley Primary School serves students in kindergarten through 4th grade. We have approximately 300 students enrolled. We are located in a rural community and our school is surrounded by beautiful oak and pine trees with a spectacular view of Mt. Shasta from the playground.
We pride ourselves in giving a personal touch to each and every student, both academically and socially. We follow the "Professional Learning Community" model and our teachers collaborate regularly to discuss students and how they, as a team, can maximize student achievement. Teachers regularly use data on student performance on grade-level standards to refine their instruction.
Our school has been completely remodeled and modernized. We have a new 20 PC computer lab and 4 student use computers in every classroom. We utilize many programs to support student learning that include the Renaissance Place programs (Accelerated Reading and Math), Lexia, Read Naturally and FastMath.
