Welcome to Happy Valley Primary School!  Happy Valley Primary School serves students in kindergarten through 5th grade.  We have approximately 280 students enrolled.  We are located in a rural community and our school is surrounded by beautiful oak and pine trees with a spectacular view of Mt. Shasta from the playground.

We pride ourselves in giving a personal touch to each and every student, both academically and socially. Our teachers collaborate regularly to evaluate student data, and determine, as a team, how they can maximize student achievement.  Teachers regularly use this data on student performance on grade-level standards to refine their instruction. Happy Valley Primary school utilizes Standards-Based Report cards. Students also have opportunities to participate in Band, GATE, Student Council, Recycling, Worm Farming  and Gardening.

Our school has been completely remodeled and modernized.  Our district has access to “state of the art” technology to support education. We have ActiveBoards, a computer lab and computer stations in each classroom.  We utilize many programs to support student learning that include the Renaissance Place programs (Accelerated Reading and Math), Lexia, Read Naturally and FastMath.  

Happy Valley Primary school is a host for a Project SHARE program. This is a free after care program for K-5 from 2:15-6:00 pm. Due to the popularity of this program, space is limited. Please call to reserve a space if you are interested in this program as an option to assist your family.

Happy Valley School District encourages parents to be valued partners in the education of their child. Our PTA is accepting memberships at this time. The PTA organizes classroom festivities, the annual “Fun Run”, the Book Faire, the Christmas Boutique, Magazine Sales and the overall support of the Happy Valley School District.
